"The Commonwealth Vs. Fat Rock Brewing Company."

Fat Rock employees Cliff Hultquist, Paul Voigt, and Keith Wright appeared before Williamsburg/James City County Circuit Court Judge Harry Johnson last month on charges of lewd behavior.  Click HERE to hear an excerpt of the Judge's comments to the Fat Rockers prior to the verdict.
Cliff Hultquist and Keith Wright were caught by the judge mumbling something obscene under their breath in response to his harsh comments.  The judge was very quick to retort! Click HERE to hear the Judge's angry comments.
Judge Johnson especially was not very fond of Paul Voigt.  Looking at Paul's record, Judge Johnson found out that he was from Texas.  This did not sit very well with the Judge.  Apparently the Judge had been in the military previous to studying law. Click HERE to hear the honorable judge questioning Paul in the courtroom (Cliff and Keith felt so bad for Paul ... but truthfully ... they were actually snickering under their breath).

Click HERE to hear what Cliff yelled out after a guilty verdict was read by the Judge.  We are still not clear on why Cliff brought a horse into the courtroom.  At first, we all assumed it would be some form of evidence...but it wasn't!

Click HERE to hear the unusual question the bailiff asked us while he was leading us away to our jail cell.

That night we had to spend a night in jail.  Around 3 o'clock AM a guard responded to our cell and asked what was going on.  Even though he didn't want to rat him out, Keith ended up telling on Paul. Click HERE to hear what he told the guard that Paul was doing.

"Fat Rock Brewery Security"

Joe Bauer has brought a great deal of comfort to the employees at the Fat Rock Brewery. Once, during a brewery tour, a teenager pick-pocketed Brewmeister Keith Wright's wallet.  This did not go unnoticed by our security team!  Click HERE to hear Joe interact with the teenager regarding the "wallet incident."
"China Joe" Bauer has extensively studied torture techniques.  Here, he tests a new bamboo cane to use for "caning" to see if it is more effective than his old one.  Click HERE to hear Joe and one of his assistants in his "Torture Research & Development" laboratory.

Manager of Fat Rock Brewery Security, Joseph Bauer, is heard in this excerpt talking about what he is planning to do with an individual who was caught trying to illegally enter the brewery.  Joe has some proven tactics which he employs on a regular basis.  Click HERE to hear his comments.

One of the suspects caught sneaking into the brewery asks Joe and Paul about his rights. Click HERE to hear.

Joe is VERY persistent when it comes to the security and safety of the Fat Rock establishment.  Once, a gentleman by the name of "Butch" called the Fat Rock employees a foul name as he left after participating in the brewery tour. Click HERE to hear Joe talking with his security team regarding the incident.

In this particular sound bit,  you can hear Joe Bauer, Manager of Fat Rock Security, confronting a trespasser on the grounds of the brewery.  He always seems to confront individuals in this way for some unusual and unknown reason. Click HERE to hear.

"This and that"

Former president Jimmy Carter and Mario Cuomo are seen here visiting the Fat Rock Brewery and partaking in the brewery tour. Click HERE to hear them meet brewmeisters Cliff Hultquist and Keith Wright at the end of the tour.
This special conversation was recorded, unknowingly, while brewmeisters Cliff Hultquist and Keith Wright were brewing.  It is fascinating to hear what experienced brewmeisters talk about while carrying out the brewing process. Click HERE to hear their conversation.
Hugh Jackson, a local neighborhood watch coordinator, says a few choice words to the Fat Rock employees as they leave the brewery for the day. Protests are very common around the Fat Rock Brewing Compound.  Click HERE to hear his lovely comments.
Frank Wilson, another resident from the neighborhood in which the brewery is located, makes his thoughts known to the Fat Rock Public Relations Director during a previously peaceful protest. Click HERE to hear Frank's comments.
i Click HERE to hear a terribly unfortunate incident that occurred recently. Brewmeisters Cliff Hultquist and Keith Wright were driving a rented delivery truck with Brew Kill Floor Technician Marvin Engles.  They were on their way to Richmond to deliver a few kegs of Fat Rock to several establishments.  During what seemed to be an idle conversation, a hideous turn of events occurred resulting in Marvin's death. Since this event, neither Cliff nor Keith have brought a loaded weapon on a beer run ever again!
